What is a snag?
A snag is an item or issue within a building’s construction that has been missed by the builder, or not done correctly. In time this can potentially deteriorate, causing further issues and problems.
Can I ask questions to the person doing the survey?
Yes of course! We welcome all questions, all snags will be explained on the visit so that you have an understanding ready for the build contractor to visit.
What time will our inspector arrive?
Your inspector will arrive between 8-9 am unless agreed otherwise.
How long does a survey take?
This will depend on the size of your property. Our home inspections surveys are comprehensive and take on average 4 – 6 hours.
Can my property be snagged before we move in?
Yes, of course! We can conduct the inspection before or after you have moved in. If you would like an inspection pre-handover, an agreement will need to be in place between you and the developer to grant us access.
How much does a survey cost?
Prices start at just £349 for a 2-bedroom house. This includes a fully comprehensive report emailed directly to you within 48 hours of the onsite inspection. All our pricing is available on our website.
What if I do not have a confirmed date yet?
No problem! We can take an estimated date, and once you receive information on the date of your move-in day, just let us know and we will accommodate.
Can I pay by credit card?
